It is reported that Logitech today with United States Texas video conferencing company LifeSize Communications signed a memorandum, Logitech will 4.05 billion in cash acquisition of LifeSize Communications, this also is to further strengthen the Logitech in video conferencing market strength.
According to Logitech, through the acquisition of LifeSize Communications available to high-definition video conferencing-related technology and are more than 80 countries of the 9000 more users.
Logitech President and CEO Gerald P. Quindlen said: "through this acquisition we hope Logitech will expand the video communication market, high-definition video conferencing into a mainstream way of communication, like the phone easy to use. ”
According to Gerald P. Quindlen, the entire transaction is expected to be completed in December, LifeSize will become Logitech's a Department, continued by currently company CEO and co-founder Craig Malloy leadership.
