Wheaton, Maryland's Washington Professional Systems (WPS) recently used by JBL VerTec array line of United States Air Force Museum installed a new sound system, this Museum is located in Dayton, Ohio's Wright-Patterson Air Base.
Air force band every year in Modern Flight Hangar for 60 to 70 performances, the venue of the area has four acres, clearance is 80 feet high. Need a semi-permanent hanging audio system to the band's 60 instruments make amplification.
"JBL VerTec hanging system of standards allows us to place each array line speaker and can get very accurate coverage, and the site optimally tuned is easy and repeatable," WPS Vice President Greg Lukens said: "we at the venue of each side will use eight JBL VT4888 medium model line array speakers and four VT4880 woofer speaker, so we can get the place we want sound. "VerTec component is to use Crown MA-5002 and Crown MA-2402 amplifier driven, the signal is a Yamaha PM1D digital tuning system.
Concert systems also installed a small bit of activities prepared sound system, this system is composed of space on each side of eight JBL VT4887 speakers, this system can be used to carry out the Museum's public speaking and play recorded good music, etc. Two systems are used for CM Loadstar hoist raise.
